Roadside Produce

On the way home from Coco Beach we passed a woman selling pomelo on the side of the road. Being a lover of pomelo, we had to stop! It was far cheaper than what we find in Manila so I took a chance and bought three. Unfortunately, like so often with pomelo, one was dried out and bitter but the other two were at least edible. You continue to buy it though because when you find a perfectly ripe one they are just divine!!! As usual, strangers were fascinated with Coco’s hair and thought it was perfectly okay to put their hands in it but it was all good; Coco didn’t seem to mind. At least not this time.
